WILD LIFE TOURS
One of the
best ways to get up close and personal with the
wildlife of the Guanacaste province is to see it
from boat riding along the Tempisque River. The
Tempisque River cuts through the Palo Verde National
Park which is a 45,000 area between the Tempisque
and Bebedero rivers. The park is mostly comprised of
vital floodplains, marshes, limestone ridges, and
seasonal pools that are home to 60 different species
of birds and hundreds of other animals. It is also
protection for one of the most endangered
ecosystems, the tropical dry rainforest which only
comprise about .1% of the area of what they once
were.
Guests can
expect to see Scarlett macaws, capuchin monkeys,
howler monkeys, alligators along with many other
birds, lizards and mammals. The drive from Vista
Bahia is about 45 minutes and the whole tour takes
about 6 hours with an authentic Costa Rican lunch at
the end.
